In making meals different and interesting, sometimes it's about the
method of cooking too and not just the ingredients.
I'm a huge fan of the George Forman grill. We do barbeque
outdoors as well - which is great because that means my hubby is making
dinner (yay!). Every now and then though, if we are only needing
one steak (for salad or fajitas for example), it doesn't seem worth it
to fire up the barbie. That's when the indoor grill comes out.
Of course it's also great when the weather is just too bad to allow
outdoor grilling.
If you're not familiar with it, it's designed like a waffle maker
where you put your food on one side - the bottom - and then fold the
other side on top of it. They come in different sizes for
different sizes of families too.
What's great is that the food cooks very quickly because both sides
are getting heated at once! Fast, easy and quick clean ups are the
main reasons why I love my grill.
The bonus is that it also makes a great sandwich grill. The
grilled sandwiches that are so popular these days can be whipped up in
no time - just add your favorite fillings inside a bun or flat bread and
grill until the bread is crispy and the fillings are hot - yum - no more
boring sandwiches!
